About Me

As a photographer I’m specialized in documentary photography. My favorite themes are beauty and creativity. You can recognize my photos by it’s contrasts, most of the time boosted by the sun or by using a reportage flashlight.

While working as a graphic designer, I decided to explore my huge passion photography. I studied four years at the Foto Academie Amsterdam. Now I try to combine the two whenever I can.

I can get inspired by almost everything but mostly by the work of Martin Parr, Ed van der Elsken, Martijn van der Griendt, the boys and girls of Flirt Creativity, Sander Pappot and Wolfgang Tillmans.  

When it’s time to shoot, I crawl through all kind of urban areas looking for fresh creativity. At the moment I’m following the building of Europe’s largest street art museum STRAAT. During the rainy season you can find me playing around behind my Mac, working on my photo series, designing magazines / a crisp banner, or practicing After Effects. 

But whatever I do I try to make life more colorful.
